Privacy Policy
The Academy holds more sensitive material than a typical course platform — your financials, your KPI architecture, your data room. One rule governs all of it: nothing about your business becomes visible to an investor without your explicit, revocable consent.
Consent
Investor visibility is opt-in, per investor, and revocable at any time.
Compliance
Held to Canada's PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA.
No sale of data
We do not sell personal information or train models on your business data.
Response time
Access, correction and deletion requests answered within thirty days.
01 · What we collect
Account and enrolment data. Name, work email, company, role and revenue band, taken at assessment or enrolment. We use it to deliver your report, size the recommendation and administer your enrolment.
Assessment responses. Your answers to the twenty-four diagnostic questions, and the Founder Maturity Level derived from them.
Learning and evidence data. Lesson progress, installed-action commitments, artifact uploads, evidence-check submissions and validation records from peers or advisors.
Capital Intelligence Platform data. Where you choose to activate a CIP profile: financial statements, KPI data, capital history and data-room documents you upload. This is the most sensitive category we hold and it is never collected by default.
02 · Who can see it
Academy staff and your advisor. Staff administering your enrolment, and — where a cohort or Extended Program attaches one — your assigned advisor.
Your cohort and pod. Within a pathway or program, peers see your name, company and the commitments you make to the group. They do not see your financials or your assessment detail.
Delivery partners. For programs delivered with a partner facilitator, the partner sees what is needed to facilitate — attendance, commitments, artifact submissions — under contract, and never your CIP financial profile.
Investors — only with consent. Certifications, readiness scores and any part of a CIP profile become visible to a matched investor only when you explicitly publish them, per investor or per audience. Consent is revocable at any time, and withdrawing it removes future visibility.
03 · Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, withdraw a consent, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Records tied to an issued certificate are retained so the credential remains verifiable; we tell you exactly what is kept and why.
Requests go to privacy@futureventures.ca and we respond within thirty days.
04 · Where it is held
Academy learning records sit with our learning-platform provider. The Capital Intelligence Platform runs on Microsoft Azure. Where a processor stores data outside Canada, we contract for equivalent protection, and we will name the processor and its jurisdiction on request.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business data to train anything.
05 · Marketing
Taking the assessment gets you your report. It does not opt you into a sales sequence — that requires a separate, explicit opt-in, and every message carries an unsubscribe.
Future Ventures Corp · Calgary, Alberta · Effective August 2026. We post any material change to this policy here and notify enrolled participants by email.
